Employment Technologies, Winter Park, Florida, the global leader in simulation-based pre-employment testing for credit unions and financial centers, is joining with the World Council of Credit Unions (WCCU), the international trade association and development agency for credit unions, in observance of the 71st annual International Credit Union Day®, October 17, 2019.
This year, the theme for International Credit Union (ICU) Day is “Local Service. Global Reach. “
ICU Day is dedicated to the spirit of the global credit union movement and calls attention to the credit union movement’s history, promotes its achievements, and recognizes the hard work and shared member experiences. Internationally, there are more than 240 million members in credit unions – and more than 100 million credit union members in the United States alone.
“Employment Technologies serves many of the largest and most successful credit unions in the United States, which means the values promoted by the International Credit Union Day celebration are particularly meaningful to our company,” observed Joseph Sefcik, president, Employment Technologies.
“Credit unions are very much a people-to-people business,” Sefcik points out. “As member-owned cooperative institutions, credit unions enable members to pool their money to provide each other with affordable loans and financial services—literally people helping people and empowering them to take control of their financial future.”
“Employment Technologies’ role within the credit union industry is to help credit unions expand their access to the best talent and quickly identify the best qualified candidates that will enhance their member experience. Our job simulations and immersive hiring tools are relied upon by many of the most successful credit unions in the North America to hire – and retain – the very best talent to serve their growing membership.”
World Council of Credit Unions is the global trade association and development agency for credit unions and promotes the sustainable development of credit unions and other financial cooperatives around the world to empower people through access to high quality and affordable financial services.
