Job Simulations – Getting Started

 

One of the things I like best about my job is working with great clients! In my role as Manager of Systems Administration, I am often the first point of contact when clients implement one of our EASy Simulations. In my years (I’m not saying how many!) helping new clients implement our tools, the comment I hear most often is:

“Wow, I had no idea it would be this easy!”

In Tuesday’s blog, we highlighted what hiring managers need to know about job simulations. In today’s post, we’ll summarize how easy it is to get up and running!

Getting Started is as Easy as 1-2-3

1. Job Match – Verify the job simulation matches your hiring needs

Before you implement any pre-hire assessment, you want to make sure it’s accurate (valid) and job relevant. To help our clients verify that our job simulations match their hiring needs, we offer a job match process. This statistical survey process is quick and easy to complete. Key members of your team simply complete a short online survey, documenting whether specific tasks and skills measured in the simulation are important aspects of the target job in your organization. If it is a successful match, we provide written documentation verifying your results. These results give you the confidence that the job simulation matches your hiring needs and meets federal guidelines. There is no charge for our job match or documentation.

2. Implementation – One click is all it takes

Implementation can be as quick as clicking a link to verify access to your account.  Once your account is activated, you’ll have secure access to innovative tools and technology to identify and hire the best new talent and to create a personalized onboarding plan for each new hire. You can manage your account through our user-friendly dashboard. In addition, all of our simulations are designed for easy integration with today’s leading applicant tracking systems, so you can also access results through your existing system.

3. Training – A few best practices to get you started

While using our job simulations requires no specialized training, we like to make sure your experience is as smooth as possible. For that reason, we offer hands-on training sessions to review best practices and give you practice accessing participant results, generating reports, and interpreting results. These sessions can be scheduled at your convenience and are typically completed by phone or webcast.
