Employment Technologies is proud to announce that Chief Information Officer Sarah Niemann has been recognized as the Leading Employment Insight Solutions Businesswoman 2026 (Florida) by Acquisition International.
The award recognizes Sarah’s contributions to technology innovation, product development, security leadership, and the advancement of data-driven hiring solutions that help organizations make more informed talent decisions.
While the recognition highlights Sarah’s individual leadership, she is quick to point to the mission that has guided her work throughout her career:
“The right people change everything.”
That belief has become a defining theme throughout her career and the foundation for many of the innovations she has helped bring to Employment Technologies.
For Sarah, hiring has never been simply an HR function. It is one of the most important drivers of business performance.
“Organizations often view HR as a cost center,” Sarah says. “But people are the foundation of every business outcome. Revenue, customer satisfaction, productivity, retention, and growth all begin with having the right people in the right roles. When people are placed in roles that align with their strengths, we see better outcomes. When they aren’t, everyone pays the price.”
Over the years, Sarah became increasingly interested in measuring the business impact of hiring decisions beyond traditional HR metrics. By comparing client implementation timelines with publicly reported business performance data, she began uncovering a larger story.
What she found reinforced a belief she had held for years.
“When organizations place the right people into the right roles, the results show up everywhere,” Sarah says. “HR may celebrate lower turnover, but executives should also be asking what happened to productivity, customer satisfaction, revenue, and profitability.”
Across financial institutions and other organizations, Employment Technologies has documented examples where improved talent selection correlated with significant business outcomes, including multi-million-dollar revenue gains, stronger customer-facing performance, measurable improvements in Revenue per Employee, and returns on investment exceeding 700%.
For Sarah, these outcomes represent something larger than hiring efficiency.
“They demonstrate that people strategy is business strategy, even as technology evolves,” she says. “The right banker, lender, customer service representative, or contact center agent doesn’t just stay longer. They create better experiences, generate more revenue, and strengthen the organization around them.”
This belief has shaped Sarah’s approach throughout her 13-year career at Employment Technologies.
What began as a role in marketing evolved into a journey through technology, product strategy, software development, cybersecurity, integrations, operations, and executive leadership. Along the way, Sarah consistently sought opportunities to learn new skills, solve problems, and bridge the gap between business objectives and technology solutions.
Today, as CIO, she leads initiatives that support both the company’s long-standing mission and its future vision.
That mission has remained remarkably consistent throughout Employment Technologies’ 30-year history. While technology has evolved from role-plays and U-Matic formats to VHS tapes, floppy disks, CD-ROMs, online assessments, simulations, and now evolving AI, the goal has remained the same: helping organizations identify people who are more likely to succeed in a role.
Today, Employment Technologies serves organizations across a wide range of industries. From financial institutions and healthcare organizations to retailers, restaurants, insurers, and contact centers, consumers across the globe interact every day with businesses that have benefited from better hiring decisions.
“If you look around, chances are you’ve seen a logo, walked into a business, or interacted with a brand that we’ve helped support through better hiring decisions,” Sarah says. “Most people just don’t realize the impact talent decisions have on the experiences they encounter every day.”
This philosophy continues to influence Employment Technologies’ next generation of solutions, including the upcoming launch of the Contact Center Simulation. The new assessment experience is designed to help organizations evaluate candidates through realistic customer interactions and job-relevant scenarios, providing greater insight into how candidates may perform before they are hired.
For Sarah, the launch represents more than a new product. It reflects a continued commitment to helping organizations make hiring decisions that are fair, defensible, and predictive of success.
While awards may recognize individuals, Sarah views this recognition as a reflection of the many people who have contributed to the journey.
“No meaningful accomplishment happens alone,” she says. “I’m grateful for the colleagues, mentors, clients, partners, and team members who have challenged, supported, and inspired me throughout my career.”
As Employment Technologies celebrates 30 years of innovation and prepares for its next chapter, the company is proud to recognize Sarah’s leadership and the impact she continues to make on both the organization and the industry.
